PERSONALITY
Description:
Nate is a very bushy eyed man for “his age”, which he refuses to admit or acknowledge. He is rather springy in his step, liking to walk rather than drive most of the time, and enjoys playing on local football teams(English version~)when he was the chance. He loves his job even though it requires long hours, and doesn’t plan on retiring any time soon. This is the reason his ex-wife said she left him, Nate always had his suspicions of other reasons.
With the small amount of authority his position in his job allows, he sure does use it. He doesn’t take too kindly to backtalk from his younger workers, or hotheaded older ones. Though he isn’t very serious at all outside of cases; often cracking jokes or sparring playfully with coworkers. The man is a bit of a hothead, and states things bluntly to the media, his bosses, or practically anyone for that matter. His patience is rather small and wains quickly, though he does have the right intentions in mind.

*History:
military man of a father and a housekeeper mother with two sisters. His family was very into the traditional roles, where men were supposed to be the main breadwinners and women took care of the home life. However, his sisters were pushed to do well in school as well as learning to keep house. The family was a happy one, despite all of their shortcomings and life was always good and simple. His father and he always had a special bond, though he was held to high expectations being the only son. From a young age he learnt about guns, fighting like a man, and learned of chivalry and other important “manly” skills.
After school, he joined the police force and lived at home for a few years before traveling off to different parts of Europe for a few more years before settling down in Hobart. He was married when he was young, but the couple broke up fairly quickly after they were wed, having rushed things. Since then relationship have been few and far between.
Though there was one thing from his past that he could never overcome.
The stories.
Oh his father was a good story teller. An amazing one at that. He could paint worlds in his children’s head that would last for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately, his father’s favorite topic was paranormals.
His father hated them. Wished them all dead, every single one of them.
Nate really never knew what to think. The stories always seemed so convincing, and when he was young he would cringe at every paranormal he walked by in the street. Though as he grew older and had classes with kids out of the odds, he really didn’t see why his father hated them. One of his best friends was actually a werewolf of sorts, and at that time in his life, Nate had not one single lick of disapproval towards them. Though his father sure did.
When he discovered their friendship he got more than a few belts to the back, causing his thoughts to fog again.
Now a days he believes that paranormals are just like anybody else, but he can’t help but cringe now and again.
