[glow=red,2,300]Hello, hello, are you listening? Hello, hello, are you there? You've tuned the voices out but now the symptoms are everywhere You are, you are, you are part of this I know you think you're much more You better think again Because you're one defenceless animal [/glow]Little Sirius… Hadrian could remember the first time he saw him in Sage's arms, he seemed impossibly tiny. So innocent, so beautiful. He stirred, flailed and squawked, but Hadrian did not remember really hearing Sirius cry when he was born. He could not thank Ruby enough for helping Sage bring their son into the world safely. She was like an... angel, Barty had called her once, and had explained that an angel was like a deity... friend's of a religious figure called God.
To Hadrian, Sirius was a bright white aura which bloomed like opening rose petals. He felt Sirius' mind fluttering like a million butterflies, and he was amazed at how the moment he lay eyes on his son, he was literally bombarded by the flare of new life and love...the same feelings he felt when he realised he was in love with Sage. Stronge and wonderful.
He was almost two years old now, and had grown like a mustard seed; so small when he'd taken his first breath, and now he was growing tall and strong, from the root's from which he's sprouted from. On Hadrian's home planet, Sirius would be called a litia konuko, which was translated to "little child" in English, though he was still a toddler by Human standards.
He was a wiry little thing, who appeared to be an even combination of both his parents; he had a pale complexion, though he was no where near as meaky as Hadrian, he was more the creamy tan which Sage must have inherited from her own parents. He also had the same number of fingers and toes as Hadrian had. Sirius' eyes were the same vibrant colors blue and green which Hadrian had, though mirror opposite. His hair was blonde, but also bore a faint hint of developing waves which Hadrian grew. His brow's were light, and thick, as were his lips.
Sirius was now sitting inside of this weird little thing people called a "stroller" which you kept infant's in. As explained before, Sirius was not exactly an infant anymore, but no matter what species you were, at his age even three year old's needed to be lugged around and carried at times; a tired Sirius equalled a very grumpy Sirius, and that was not something Hadrian wished to experience this early in the afternoon.
It had been a sunny start to the day, though since he and the other's had begun their new lives in Hobart, Hadrian had learnt just how unpredictable the rain was, and had equipped Sirius with a woolen blanket which he had tucked around his feet, leg's and around his chest, allowing him to move his arm's at free will. This day, Sirius was clad in a pair on dungarees, and a bright green top that had a bright blue bird on the front. He also wore a pair of small red sneaker's, with a pair of blue and yellow striped sock's. Both Hadrian and Sage had decided to get 3-4 years of everything, so the top was still quite baggy, and the dungarees weren't much better. Still, they weren't falling down, and hopefully they'd last him a while, so Hadrian was thankful for that.
Soothed by the motion of the stroller and the murmering of passers by, Sirius had fallen into a contented sleep. His head had lolled to the side, so it was resting on the inside cover of the buggy, and his thumb was nestled in his mouth. Howard smiled at the cute scene. Funny... before Sirius was born, Hadrian had had very little patience for children, and babies both Andromed and Human alike. It had never been that he did not like them, no, it was more the fact that they were small, and smelly, and noisy, and hungry... and true, Sirius could be all of these thing's at time's as well, but he was different from other children. Sirius was his. He was the other part of Hadrian's soul.
Hadrian walked slowly, so as not to to wake the toddler up while the nippy air cuffed the stroller, and Hadrian's own clothes gently. Sirius squeezed his eyes a bit tighter, but was still sleeping peacefully, so Hadrian now set off for the park, taking great care when going over any cobbles or dents in the pavement. It was a pretty standard park, with a couple of slides, a swing set, tires and a jungle gym too. There was even a small fountain as well, which Hadrian had taken Sirius to play under with a few little toy car's. Hadrian could remember last time Sirius had been "driving" one of the little car's on the side of the fountain, making little "vvvvrooom" sounds and having a great time until he'd accidently let go of the toy and let it fall into the water. Sirius had bawled his eyes out until Hadrian managed to fish it out of the fountain and hand it back to him. Afterwards, he gave the water the same disaproving look you may give a misbehaving puppy, it was funny enough to make Hadrian chuckle.
Today though, Hadrian was up for something different. Not far from the park... a mere five minute walk into the small wooded area was a small permaculture garden. It seemed abandoned, for the plant's and trees grew untamed, and a few small cobblestone wall's had broken on the loamy soil, which was still damp from a very early morning's rain. The trees were so thick in places it was not hard to believe that certain part's of the forest's rarely to never saw a spot of sunshine, and as a result, any rocks, or road's, even the ground was as slippery and trecherous as ice. Not so much this place though. There was plently of sunlight, and there were many fruit trees as well.
Hadrian stopped pushing the stroller once they got far enough away from the other people you could hardly hear the usual sound's of children squealing as they played, or parent's talking to other parent's about parent thing's. He then walked to the front, where little Sirius continued to sleep. Hadrian's lip's quirked into a slight smile at the fact that his thumb was still firmly in his mouth.
"Sirius," Hadrian called gently to the boy, tapping his shoulder with two of his fingers. This action resulted in little Sirius moaning and trying to edge away. "Come on Sirius, I want to show you something new." Sirius opened one eye unwillingly. Unsurprisingly, Sirius often displayed act's of similar (though not as severe) anmounts of stubborness his father possessed. Releasing his thumb, Sirius straightened up a bit, rubbing at his eyes to try to drive away any more sleep, making little whining noises as he cleared his throat.
"Want's sleep."Sirius spoke rather grumpily, in a childish voice he had aquired. once he'd discovered he was able to use vocalization.
"Not yet, chakta," Hadrian shook his head, and Sirius mimicked him.
"Chalk tah," Sirius echoed as close to the same pronounciation his dad used. Chakta was an Andromed word for "son". "Sirius is chalk tah."
"You sure are," Hadrian reached over and unclipped the seatbelt to Sirius' stroller, while Sirius helped him
For someone who barely scraped two years of age, he was already displaying a surprising amount of intelligence. He was even speaking a few small words in Andromed, while everyone he interacted with taught him more English every day. It was Hadrian's hope that one day when Sirius was a little older he'd be able to have simple conversation's with him in his native language. Maybe even a few of his friends as well.
Sirius then proceeded to lift his own arm's up so that Hadrian could lift him up out of the stroller and set him down on the soil. Despite looked very obviously disheveled as a result of just waking up, Sirius looked surprisingly quite content for a toddler who had just been woken from a nap. Almost immediately, Sirius crouched on the ground and with both hands, he took two fistfull's of dirt and let go very abruptly, giggling as the wet soil reconnected with the rest of the earth. "Want to see what I want to show you?" Hadrian asked, so Sirius nodded and reached for his father's hand. Hadrian's entire hand fit around Sirius' very easily as he led the little half-breed towards a spreading tree with an umbrella-like canopy. Fruit's called rose apples grew from the branches.
Hadrian reached up and easily picked a small yellow fruit, about the size of a small plum, from one of the branches. With his free hand, he helped Sirius wipe the rest of the dirt he had smeared in his hands, and then tore the fruit in half. "Taste this," he instructed, putting the fruit to his own lip's as Sirius sniffed his own piece. Sirius nibbled on it, smiled, and began to suck on the juice. Hadrian however, felt his own tastebud's recoil. To him, it was like eating perfume.
Sirius suddenly began to giggle, showing of some very small teeth, with many spaces in between them. "Da-da pulled a funny face," he spoke in a high-pitched tone of delight, and he was right, Hadrian was in fact pulling one a very involuntary scrunched face as the fruit assulted his tastebuds.
"Well you know what?" Hadrian grinned a devilish smile, "I think it's kind of funny when you pull this face!" Then he pounced, scooped Sirius into his arm's and began tickling him with his spare hand. Sirius squealed in delight, squirming and trying to push Hadrian's hand away from his tummy. "No, no, no! Agh!" he then erupted into a fit of high-pitched giggles. "Da-da! Hehehe! Pweez! Hehehehe!"[glow=red,2,300] + + + + + + + + + + + + + +

It had been a week since I got here to this town and it was hectic, there was so much cement in the town centre and nowhere near enough nature for my liking. Don’t get me wrong I was loving the freedom of it all, being able to run my own life, however I was missing the open spaces of home. There we had nature surrounding us always, so being my day off I had wandered to one of the local parks and after wandering around for a while watching the children play and parents run around after them or sitting on the grass watching on I decided to venture a little further off the beaten track. Off to one side of the park was a wooded area and I decided it would be fun to explore it a little see how big it was and maybe climb a tree or two.
I set of into the tree’s my legs clad in simple jeans and a long sleaved pink shirt protecting my arms from the cold, though my feet were bare the sandals I had originally worn to the parks hooked through a finger and swinging madly as I swung my arms around as I danced though the tree’s reviling in the freedom of being surrounded by nature again. It wasn’t too bad in my shop at least I was still surrounded by my flower friends but there was nothing like being outside amongst all the plants.
It was so peaceful here amongst the trees and the sounds of the kids playing in the park were fading away more and more with every lithe step I took. Soon I could see a kind of break in the tree’s where before since I entered into the tree’s the light filtering through the branches had been limited I noticed up ahead a kind of circle of light. I headed for it curious as what I might find there in the beam of light.
I stepped out of the gloom and into the slightly lighter area to find a charming wild little garden growing there amongst the standard tree’s surrounding it. I felt a sudden urge to be closer to the sun and tossing my sandals over into a corner of the little garden, I grabbed hold of a low hanging branch on one of the tree’s surrounding the area and pulled myself up and onto it and began to climb the tree my bare feet catching the branches as I climbed higher and higher until I was near the top and could feel the sun on my face.
I settled myself on one of the top branches leaning against the trunk of the tree and smiled happily to myself, a shadow cast across my face from the branch above and I glared at it accusingly for a moment as it robbed me of the full extent of the sun and gently lowering my hand to the branch I let the magic flow through me and into the tree and grinned as the branch above bent out of my way letting the light come down and strike my face gently. I smiled contented and closed my eyes loving the quite, the soft sounds of nature around me, the leaves rustling gently as the wind blew through them.
I wasn’t sure how long I sat there like that just listening to nature and soaking up what vitamin D I could, it wasn’t often the sun was out on this little island. For all I knew I could have dozed off I wasn’t sure really but I didn’t mind I had no plans for today and I intended on enjoying that fact by ding absolutely nothing. All too soon I heard a new sound, the sound of feet against the woodland floor and tyres as well. I didn’t think much off it as they grew closer and closer until they were right below me and stopped. Looking over the edge of my branch I saw a man with a stroller in the wild garden.
I sat where I was and watched as the man woke the small child from his sleep, and watched with fascination the interactions between the two. As I watched I tried to pick out what wasn’t right, I wasn’t sure what was making me feel like something wasn’t right but I just had that feeling. It took until I saw the man reach up into the tree right near my and pluck one of the fruit from it that I realised he only had 3 fingers. It took a moment for me to realise the small child had the same amount of fingers as well, and they both had quite unique eyes, one blue and one green.
I smiled as the man began to tickle the child and I felt bad for being here up the tree I felt like I was intruding on some private moment. I wondered if I should just stay up here and wait until they left or if I should make my way down the tree and acknowledge the fact that I was here. I decided to be upfront and easily made my way down the tree grabbing hold of the last branch and lowering myself down near the duo.
“Hey sorry to interrupt just thought I’d drop in”
I said with a grin, sure it wasn’t the most original greeting but it was true, I was after all dropping in from out of the tree. I stood there like an idiot waiting to see what their reaction would be.

[glow=red,2,300]Hello, hello, are you listening? Hello, hello, are you there? You've tuned the voices out but now the symptoms are everywhere You are, you are, you are part of this I know you think you're much more You better think again Because you're one defenceless animal [/glow]What always pleased, as well as surprised Hadrian was the fact that even in a city there was still at least one patch of natural beauty hidden somewhere if you knew where to find it. Sure, it was true that the city was surrounded by natural beauty, but it was nice to be able to not have to travel very far in order to find a little space of zen.
Hobart was very different to any other place he'd been. Which wasn't saying a lot since he'd only ever lived in Miami up until about a year and a while ago. His species, the Andromed's sent out their own equilivant of scientists out on mission's to study the different atmospheric conditions, and life to some degree on CO2 spiking planet's. Hadrian was something of a machinist; he's repair any damage inflicted upon the craft if it were needed.
Of course it was not a very high ranking job compared to the others. The ship was considered almost-new; it didnt need spare parts! So they didn't need him. As far as they were concerned, Hadrian's job possition was right above the poor sucker who's shovelling the coal. He was expendable, so it should have really come as little surprise when, after a chase between their craft and a UFO Controlling Comittee, Hadrian was the one, out of about thirty others chosen to become jettisoned in order to distract the Human's and allow the others a better chance at escape - against his free will, of course.
As luck occasionally takes sides, Hadrian was fortunate enough to land in the farmlands, on the property of two Human's called Barty, and Ruby, who took him in as a sort of surrogate son. Anyway I digress... out of many other planet's Hadrian had flown over, Earth, and so far specifically Tasmania, had the most unique weather conditions.
Hadrian finally decided to stop tickling the little blonde child in his arm's soon after his face began turning a little pink from laughing so hard. Hadrian held him for a moment, pulling the boy close to his chest, and taking relief in feeling his heartbeat throb next to his own. A small difference Sirius had, affirming that he was a hybrid, was that unlike Hadrian, his heart was on the left side of his chest, not on the right, like an Andromed.
After Sirius' laugh's had subsided into small giggles, Hadrian put him back on the ground, holding one of his hands to keep him steady before the boy shook himself free and started to wander around, kneeling to touch thing's, or pick them up while Hadrian watched him, crossing his arm's over his chest.
It was amazing how fast the little guy was growing. Sirius was the other part of Hadrian's soul. It didn't seem that long ago he was a newborn. He had been as delicate as a plant-stem. Sixteen perfect, wiggly fingers and toes. His feet had been only as long as the tip of Hadrian's thumb! So small! He just... still couldn't believe Sirius came from him.
Sirius had watched Hadrian with as much curiosity as he was watching him. They were both looking in a mirror - him, at his future self, and Hadrian, at my past self. Sirius returned shortly, he never strayed too far for too long, and grabbed on to one of Hadrian's fingers again, and squeezed tight. Hadrian wiggled his finger and Sirius only held on tighter. Those huge, innocent mismatched eyes staring up at his face as he smiled. Hadrian found himself smiling back. He felt like he was reborn in the boy, yet he has his own soul. Sirius. His star. Through him, Hadrian would live on.
A small monarch butterfly fluttered past the two, and circled a small patch of flowers before landing in the middle of some sunroot flowers. It sat there, waving it's tiny scaled wings up and down while it relaxed against the petals, while it moved it's dilated antennae around the air. "Buddafwy!" Sirius exclaimed in delight, pointing a small finger towards the insect.
Hadrian nodded as he smiled, "Yeah, that's right. Then, re-opened his mouth to speak again but was cut off by another voice. Hadrian spun around, and Sirius stared, as a young lady seemed to have appeared out of nowhere and was now standing underneath one of the large trees, near the shade. Hadrian glanced up into the tree branches above the girls head, and then back down at her before he finally remembered how to speak. "Liturally?" his tone was questioning. Sirius was standing close to Hadrian now, clinging to his jeans. The boy was at a stage now where he was a little shy around strangers. Hadrian placed a hand on the boy's head in a gesture mean for comfort. "I've never seen anyone else around here before," he spoke, unsure of where the heck the girl had appeared from, though he was sure that he was going to find out. "You uh, come here often?" Geeze, he thought absently. It sounded as if he was trying to pick her up at a bar or something.[glow=red,2,300] + + + + + + + + + + + + + +

It was quite humorous watching the older guy look up at the tree and back down at me it took him a moment to speak and when he did all he said was "Literally?" in a very questioning tone. I looked up at the tree above me and back at the guy in front of me noticing that the child had moved in closer to the man and was clinging to the man’s jeans.
“If you mean literally as in was I in the tree then yes, have you never climbed a tree before? It’s very peaceful up in the trees.”
I answered cheerfully I loved nature and the closer I could get to it the happier I was, yes I assumed I would get used to being further from it the longer I was in this human realm but I would always have the need to escape to the more natural areas. My mind was wandering getting distracted by the sounds of the birds flitting through the trees above up chirping away to each other happily. "I've never seen anyone else around here before” my attention turned back to him as he spoke again and I noticed how his hand had gone to the child’s head as a sign to reassure him, “You uh, come here often?" I giggled slightly at his last words the way he said it sounded like the drunks in bars trying to pick up the girls though I could tell that wasn’t his intention I couldn’t help laugh.
“I don’t I only just found this place today though I was up there thinking about coming often. Seems a nice place to get away from the mechanical world and get back to nature. That is of course if you don’t mind sharing it occasionally”
I said with a grin so far this was the closest place to where I lived and worked that had that real nature feel too it, true when I had more time I might hike out more and see if I could find anywhere else but when I needed quick retreat this place seemed perfect, supposing this guy didn’t mind sharing it.
“By the way I’m Shaylee”
I said suddenly realising I was being rude and hadn’t introduced myself yet.

[glow=red,2,300]Hello, hello, are you listening? Hello, hello, are you there? You've tuned the voices out but now the symptoms are everywhere You are, you are, you are part of this I know you think you're much more You better think again Because you're one defenceless animal [/glow]On first impression, the girl seemed like a bit of a talker. First she decided to ask if he had ever climbed a tree before, possibly assuming that he hadn't judging from the tone of her voice. Thoughts drifted into the front of Hadrian's mind, reminding him of a time when he was a child, he and a friend had climbed a tree with many roots and vines in an attempt to get away from a hungry Sieg; a flightless bird-like creature, not unlike a mix between an Earth cassowary and a pellican with sharpl claws and a hungry appetite.
"I'll admit it's been a little while," he confessed, scruffing Sirius' hair gently as he coaxed him away from his pants' leg. Sirius obliged, but remained close while he stared up at the stranger with his large mismatched eyes. "You're right though, it's a really peaceful spot here. I've been around a couple of times. You never find too many places like this in a city... but hey, I don't own it. You've got as much right to come by and enjoy it as we do." He offered a crooked smile, exposing a top row of a few too many teeth.
After Shaylee, as it turns out the girls name was, introduced herself, Sirius decided he was bold enough to speak now, presumedly spurred by his father's openness towards the stranger. "My name is Siwius!" he looked up at her and smiled a little shyly. "My son. He's just over two years of age," Hadrian added. "I'm Hadrian. It's nice to meet you," he extended a hand to shake hers. It was an action of greeting, he'd been told long ago. On his home world, when greeting one or a small group of people the hands were held up with palms facing towards the person you were greeting. The person you were greeting mimicked the action, then the two of you walk forwards and grasped hands. If greeting a person you already knew, usually a more casual approach was used. Andromed's expressed affection through touch, and scent. It was not uncommon that two people may brush cheeks as they embraced, and occasionally smell hair at the same time.
"We were just trying some of this fruit. Personally I dont have a taste for it, but you might like it?" Hadrian offered, indicating to the yellow rose apples which grew off of the spreading tree with the umbrella-like canopy. Hadrian was unsure of how to go about starting a conversation with the new aquiantiance. He was more than fine with having her around don't get him wrong, he just wasn't the best at breaking the ice. Of course he'd realised that having a son around helped, especially while he was usually quite friendly once he got over being shy.
"They're yummy!" Sirius grinned, warming up to Shaylee. He still had some of the juice around his lips and fingers.
Hadrian smiled, reached a hand towards one of the branches and held it out to her, "want to try?"[glow=red,2,300] + + + + + + + + + + + + + +

I wasn’t really shocked to hear that it had been a while since this guy had climbed a tree, I was realising quickly that in this realm such things were reserved for children. You didn’t often see the adults here letting loose and having good old fashioned fun like they did as children. Where I came from everyone was always playing and dancing, no one was all that serious at the spring fae kingdom, the only thing they were ever serious about was keeping hidden from the humans.
"You're right though, it's a really peaceful spot here. I've been around a couple of times. You never find too many places like this in a city... but hey, I don't own it. You've got as much right to come by and enjoy it as we do." His next words caught my ears and I was pleased to her that it wouldn’t be necessary for me to try and find another place like this further out, though it was likely that one day I would anyway I loved to roam and discover nature.
I smiled a wide smile at the small child edged his way away from the man’s leg, becoming braver until he finally introduced himself, "My name is Siwius!" he piped up and I looked down at him with a smile though before I could crouch down to talk to him at his level the guy spoke again "My son. He's just over two years of age, I'm Hadrian. It's nice to meet you," he said offering out his hand. I took it and shook it gently a few times before letting my hand drop away.
"It's nice to meet you too"
"We were just trying some of this fruit. Personally I don’t have a taste for it, but you might like it?" Hadrian said and I smiled looking up at the tree and noticing for the first time the fruit hanging from it. "They're yummy!" The little boy Sirius said juice from the fruit all around his mouth and all over his little fingers I smiled and crouched down so I was closer to his level he was a cute little thing.
“They look pretty yummy” I said with a smile and took the one Hadrian offered me with a smile, I took a small bite and smiled, they had a very unique taste but it was a good taste. I plopped myself down on the slightly damp ground and stretched my legs out in front of me taking a bigger bite of the small fruit.
“Your right Sirius, these are yummy, you’re an excellent judge of food kiddo.”
I said winking at him, he seemed like a really cool sort of kid, I always had liked kids though some were just annoying but not this one. Well at least not from first impressions, but first impressions can be incorrect I thought to myself absently, but I shrugged off that thought and took another bite of the fruit.
“What games do you like playing Sirius?”
I asked as I sat on the floor, I tended to find I got on with kids better than adults, probably because I was such a big kid myself.

[glow=red,2,300]Hello, hello, are you listening? Hello, hello, are you there? You've tuned the voices out but now the symptoms are everywhere You are, you are, you are part of this I know you think you're much more You better think again Because you're one defenceless animal [/glow]If Hadrian had learnt anything during his time spent on Earth, it was that the beings here came in all forms. In his little guerilla group alone there was himself, two vampiress', two demons, a cyborg, a unicorn, an alien warrior, her cousin and her daughter, a doctor, an alien-cat-woman-thing, his son Sirius, and the newest addition, little Carmen; the infant of the two vampiress'. Needless to say, whatever Shaylee was, Hadrian was sure he would not act surprised in the slightest.
The fruit seemed to interest her. As did Sirius, though that was no surprise. He could charm anybody with that cute little smile of his. Hadrian could see so much of Sage in his son; his side of the family were all darker-haired for example. Though Sirius did share the same eye colors, and numbers of digits that he did. For now it was difficult to tell whether he shared his fathers memory, or his mothers shapeshifting abilities. Perhaps both. Only time would tell them what he'd inherited, really.
Most females were enamored by small children; particularly babies, or toddlers. Shaylee seemed to be no exception. The objects of her focus right now was Sirius, and the fruit. He still did not understand the appeal of the fruit, though. She sat herself right down on the ground, and took a few good bites of it.
“Your right Sirius, these are yummy, you’re an excellent judge of food kiddo.” Sirius beamed at the praise, warming to the new woman immediately. With some tentativeness, he stepped forwards and sat in front of Hadrian, on his shoes. Hadrian arched his brow, and smiled lopsidedly as Sirius began to speak to Shaylee openly, without a trace of his initial wariness of the stranger.
"I like games of playing wif snails! And finger paints! And 'I spy wif my liddle eye'! And play-doh, too! A-and I love to eat soogar and put it in my oreenge juice. And I like play tickooz with mommy and daddy." He grinned cheekily, and leaned forwards to "tickle" Shaylees knees, giggling in his small, high-pitched voice.
"Personally, I do enjoy peek-a-boo," Hadrian admitted with a small shrug. With his feet free, Hadrian stepped to the side, leaning his back against the tree. "You seem to have a way with kids." He smiled easily. Sirius continued to grin at her, talking more to himself now as he pointed at Shaylee's knees, then at his own, stating that she had "big knees" and he has "liddle knees". "So, what do you do Shaylee?" He asked.[glow=red,2,300] + + + + + + + + + + + + + +

I felt comfortable seated on the ground, I could feel the earths spirit where slivers of bare skin touched the earth it always calmed me to feel my magical connection to the elements, and although I could control all of them to some degree I loved the grounding feeling of being connected to the earth itself as cliché as that was earth was the most soothing of the elements in my mind. I wiggled my bare toes burying them just slightly into the damn earth a satisfied smile on my face as I did so.
I grinned broadly as little Sirius told me all about his favourite games, and laughed freely and squirmed some as he reached out to tickle my knee, I never knew why but my knees were always one of my most ticklish spots but not many people knew it. I reached out to tickle his knee in return to see if he had the same sensitive ticklish spot as me with a grin upon my face.
"Personally, I do enjoy peek-a-boo," The man Hadrian spoke with a shrug and I looked at him and raised an eyebrow giving him a contemplative look I took another bite of my fruit. “peek-a-boo huh? See I’ve always preferred hide and seek myself” I said with a grin, though the way we play back home everyone can alter the landscape to camouflage themselves so it was more of a memory game to remember what the forest had looked like before you started each round to know where to look.
I smiled at his comment about me and kids and just shrugged. “I like kids they are way less complicated then grown-ups, we are much more fun to hang out with” I said with a grin purposefully phrasing it so as to put myself into the kid category as opposed to the grown-ups one.
I grinned at little Sirius as he pointed out that I had big knees and he had little knees. I gasped in surprise “No way! Are you sure!” I asked making my voice sound first surprised then sceptical I then set about examining my knees closely and then his, I measured my knee with my fingers and then held them up to his knee. “Wow your right” I said making my voice full of wonder like I had just learnt the most amazing thing in the world.
I realised then that while I had been having my fun Hadrian had asked me another question I turned back to him and was about to ask him to repeat himself when I clicked that he had asked what I do. I grinned, stood up and skipped off into the thicker part of the forest I was only gone a few moments and I skipped back with a stunning arrangement of wildflowers even if I did say so myself I plonked myself back down on the earth opposite the pair and handed the flowers to Sirius. Then with a grin I responded proudly, “I own and operate Dreamscapes floral shop, what about you?” I asked politely.
