There was a slight chill in the air, though it was rather early in the day. The sun was just peaking over the horizon, and it must have been only a few minutes past six, not that he really knew. Time was such a silly thing to the unicorn, minutes turned to hours, hours to years, and years to centuries. Time just seemed to move on at the same pace it always did, just chugging along. To the unicorn it felt like no time at all! Quam felt, also acted, just like a child. Though part of that was not intended.
The man had found himself at a familiar place, the local park by the flat he shared with the two vampire women and their child. Though, secretly he had to admit, he had been looking for a new residence and job. He felt like he had been relying on the family for too long. They had just had a child, and things were stressful enough as it is for them, he just felt like an added burden. What he really needed to do was somehow pay them back, or get on his feet so he wouldn’t need any more assistance. However, putting that all into action was extremely hard for him. His brain was so addled
This morning he had snuck out at the early hour and wandered down to the park, which usually comforted him. Though today it didn’t seem that way.
He had situated himself on a rust swing, pushing himself back and forth absentmindedly. Quam’s feet dug at the gravel beneath him, slowing him to a stop a he spotted a furry rodent friend. The fuzzy creature paused a short distance away and stopped to look at him hesitantly for a moment. The boy perked up slightly a rose to his feet, a look of excitement on his face. But the creature was spooked and fled from the danger.
“It’s okay Mr. Squirrel, I’m not in the mood to give you a hug anyways…” He whined to the animal while drooping back into his seat.

Gabriel walked into the park,it wasn't a place he usually went to but I guess it was just one of those boring days.. Everyday was a boring day for Gabriel since he wasn't technically alive. As he walked,a few humans walked by him but he kept his head low. Then someone caught his eye. The person didn't look familiar it was just that the person was surrounded by white which meant a message was supposed to be given to the man. Gabriel sighed,he hated his job.. Even though his title was 'Messenger's he still didn't like going up to strange people and giving them notes with writing on them from the person's close relative or friend. "Let's get this over with..." He said quietly to himself.
He approached the man. "Excuse me, I know this will strange extremely not human but I have a note for you from someone who died a few years ago. If you would take the time to read it and write back,I'll be sure to return the message for you." Gabriel hoped the man would ask him any questions but there was bound to be many.
