Graveyards were inherently creepy, secluded locations that people generally tended to stay away from unless completely necessary. Or at least that was what society had taught itself to believe. What with all the 'horror' stories of ancient rites, raising the dead, selling and damning souls... it was a miracle anyone even bothered burying their dead anymore. Look at all the terrible things were said to happen? The horror stories revolving around the disturbance of graves and the consequences of that were likely cooked up by people who were afraid or tired of having their loved one's graves robbed or trashed. The stories were simply put in place to keep unwanted visitors away. However some people chose to take the stories to heart, and the superstitious believed with the whole of their being that having any interaction with the dead spelled certain disaster.
Possibly one of the best and worst rumors were the ones revolving witches. A long time ago, sometime in the medieval era, a massive witch hunt had taken place. Any and every woman who was declared a witch was burned at the stake. Significantly less men were burned, but if there were one or two who got in the way of the witch hunting or defended the accused witches in any way, then they would certainly be burned as well. To stain the name of the Witches human's and officials attempting to rid their colonies of the 'heretics' would often claim that witches practiced dark magic, that they dwelled in the dark arts and performed evil rites in the name of the Devil on the living and the dead. This gave witches a very sinister and effectively petrifying image to support the massacre of thousands of women, most of whom were not witches at all.
This was something Lily had learned a considerable amount about. Being of witch descent, it was an important part of her heritage. Something her people refused to forget.
The good thing about that reputation-- the only good thing, Lily thought-- was that a lonesome homeless witch could use it to her advantage. Lily had chosen to set up camp at the edge of the cemetery, where there were no dead to disturb of course so as not to offend anyone, for the sole reason of coming across as just a bit too creepy to be considered approachable. In fact she had set up her tent just on the other side of the cemetery border to avoid trouble with the authorities.
Despite being homeless Lily was quite clean and fashionable, and she prided herself on being able to maintain her image and hiding the true disparity of the situation she was in. Lily had gone to post-secondary programs and completed a few courses in the general arts before her funds ran dry and she had to resort to palm reading. A fairly lucrative business for pocket change, enough for food some days and maybe a new shirt.
Lily had left her humble tent on the edge of the cemetery wearing her normal 'party' outfit, consisting of a form fitting corset-shirt with a ruffled trim and tight fitting jeans with strategically placed rips up and down the thighs. On her feet she wore black faux-leather boots with chains and metal clasps that jingled and sparkled gayly in the moonlight and the street lamps liquid golden hues. She had heard of a fashionable little Burlesque club that had popped up over night in the town, and uproars it was causing was certainly an intriguing reason to pay it a visit. Lily lifted her small mirror to her face and reapplied her red lipstick, simultaneously checking on her heavily yet still tastefully applied black eyeliner and mascara. She was one for simple decorations, and the contrast between the darkness of her eyes, the paleness of her skin and the bright pop of red on her plump lips.
Lily clicked her mirror closed and slipped it into her bras as she approached the thumping beat the club uncontrollably leaked into the street in front of it. She approached the front door and knocked. A stern looking woman with mouse brown hair and little--still some, but marginal-- amount of makeup to speak of on her pale expression to accentuate her sternness. Lily grinned and offered the woman the entry fee.
"Okay there are rules here," the woman began, flashing a set of impressive vampire-teeth. Lily nodded attentively as she was admitted entry, "the stage and anything behind it is off limits, and the club reserves the right to ban any and all patrons who utter threats, racist statements and try to kiss, grope or otherwise feel the performers. Understood?"
Lily grinned, "Don't touch and play nice. Got it."
The vampire woman's lips pursed into a thin line and she stepped aside to let Lily in.
The show was fantastic! Lily especially enjoyed the other vampire woman, her very attractive and chillingly acrobatic alien friend, and the human female named Geena. All were very talented, and Lily found herself lost in the dance, the music and the stories they all told. Not to mention those outfits! Those ladies were very good at retaining attention, that was for certain! As people came and left, Lily remained practically in the same seat as she had when she first arrived, riveted, her eyes glued on the stage.
When the show was over and people had begun to file out, Lily stood and applauded enthusiastically. The alien woman, clearly as exhilerated by it as anyone else, beckoned her over for some drinks. Lily happily obliged and sat on the bar stool next to her, swinging her legs.
"The show was great!" the witch beamed, and the alien's red ears flicked in appreciation.
"Thank you."
The drinks came and both women took their shots, then their lime. Lily winced at the bitter taste, and coughed slightly. The alien seemed unaffected, amused even, and she smirked in Lily's direction.
"So," Lily yelled over the act that was on, a local up-and-coming jazz ensemble, "You single?"
The alien woman puzzled over this question for a moment, "Do you mean am I mated?"
Lily shrugged and then nodded. "Sure."
The alien woman grinned and shook her head, "I am not single. I have a mate, he is at home with my daughter."
Slightly disappointed, Lily grinned anyway, "Aww! Cute. How old?"
"Twelve."
"Nice!"
The alien woman nodded. They slipped into an awkward silence, sipping the other drinks the performer had ordered. Then the alien said, "Would you like to meet the others? They will be down in a moment I know this. We take a break for food. I am done for the night, but I wish to spend time with my friends. I think they would be glad to hear someone likes the show, since so many people object it. It can be disheartening to have so many objections. I know Tara," the woman flicked her ears toward the vampire bouncer, "is stressed and worried. Her mate and their friend Geena have helped build up the club you see, and Tara only wants it to do well."
Lily could understand that. "Well you know you have a loyal customer in me." She grinned, and the alien woman grinned back.
"Here comes the woman named Geena." The alien woman announced.
Lily turned to see where the woman was coming from, and her eyes widened.
"Wow..."

It was proving to be a hectic night at the club Azure, Tara and I were still very new to this owning a club gig and it was proving to be a handful. Not only were Azure and I dancing and Tara womanizing the entrance we were running around trying to make sure everything was running smoothly, that all the dancers where ready for each set, the DJ was playing the right stuff and they barmen were doing their jobs properly. I couldn’t wait till we had been open long enough to know and trust all of our staff well enough that we didn’t need to run after them all the time. Sadly because we had set up so far from our old haunts aka on another country we had been required to hire mostly people we didn’t know. Thus making us a little uncomfortable about their abilities to run their sections without being checked up on, I just wanted this club to succeed so badly.
I had just finished my duties of checking on everyone during one of the dances that Azure was in and I wasn’t and I needed to chill for a moment before I had to go on stage. I was already in costume, it was a skimpy little thing with a tiny halter strap, two bits of the gold material coming down to meet at my bellybutton covering the girls, these two pieces met another strip of fabric that was effectively a short skirt, the dress showed off 99% of my legs, all of my back and a fair bit of stomach as well. My red hair was curled, my fringe pinned back with loose curls cascading down around my neck.
I stepped out into the main area with the customers and looked around everyone seemed to be having fun, so I hoped tonight was going to be a good night, I pulled my red painted lips up into a smile as I moved across the floor with ease is giant gold sparkling heals. I saw Xara and made a beeline for her, I hadn’t seen her much tonight and knew she was finished now and would be headed home to her man and her beautiful little girl.
“Hey Xara, I hope it’s been a good night for tips for you hunni”
I spoke as I approached not noticing the women sitting next to her at first, I assumed to begin with that she was just another customer. Though I noticed her looking at me and turned my head to smile at her. She was certainly something to look at pretty in a unique sort of way just the way I liked them.
“Are you going to introduce me to your new friend Xara, or where you trying to hide her from me”
I said with tease in my voice, it was well known that I had broken a few hearts in my time, I wasn’t one for commitment, so when the person I was hanging with got too clingy for my liking I tended to cut the cord, and it wasn’t uncommon for those who knew me well to try and keep their friends from me so I couldn’t break more hearts and ruin a friendship for them. It wasn’t like I did it on purpose I was just not good with commitment; it scares the hell out of me when someone tries to get close and personal in my life. For if I let them I could be the one left with a broken heart and I didn’t know if I could cope with that again.
Turning to the girl myself before I had even waited enough time for Xara to speak up or introduce us I leant over and smiled extending my hand to her, and batting my over made up eyes at her slightly.
“I’m Geena, pleasure to meet you …”
I spoke, trying to make it seem like an invitation to know her name.

Xara leaned over and brought Geena into a tight hug, kissing her on both cheeks. “Tips have been good today!” she said, casting Lily sidelong glances. She had sensed the woman’s attraction to Geena. Geena was attractive after all, Xara had to admit. So was Azure and Tara, but they were both taken and Xara did not have a particular liking for women like those three had. Homosexuality and heterosexuality did not have separate categories on her planet like it did on this. If someone fell in love with another person and decided to mate that person then they were expected to stay with that person for the rest of their lives; man or woman. Here it was different, and she found it frustrating to have to take a stance on the matter. If someone asked her about her ‘orientation’ Xara would feel obligated to say something about the matter despite the fact that she was under the belief that she fell in love with whoever she fell in love with; there was no mediation on her part to decide who that person was. Obviously if the person was unpleasant then she would not wish to have them as her mate, but still. Dylan was a good mate for her she believed, and so she figured on this planet she would be considered ‘straight’; as if being anything else was wrong someway.
Xara could tell Lily was interested in Geena, and grinned at them both wryly. Lily stuck out her hand tensely and grinned. “Geena! That’s a nice name I like that name. I really like the ‘ee’ sounds I think those are nice to say, and the ‘ah’ sound too it’s…a nice combo. My name is Lily… not as nice a name as Geena but, eh, still a name.”
Xara cocked a brow at the new woman who floundered over her words at the sight of such a beautiful woman. She could tell that the gothic woman was struggling to look ‘cool’ or calm, and to hide how obviously she already felt about the woman. The alien princess’s eyes, popping out more than usual due to the makeup she wore, sparkled like sly polished jade in the lights of the club. Her ears twitched as an intermediate show came on and she turned to see a new addition, a vocal student at a nearby university, take the stage. He took on the impressive task of performing, with his lover, the famous “Leparello’s Catalogue Aria” in which Leparello (meaning little rabbit) explains to his master’s (Don Giovanni’s) ex-lover and current stalker, a nun who he had bedded and then abandoned, that she was not the only one. He took out his little black book and flaunted it in front of the woman, reading off the names of all the women in all the countries his master Don Giovanni had bedded. Xara applauded loudly for the nervous young man and even though it was not—exactly—burlesque like material, it was still a good show and the story, an important factor of this club, was thrilling.
Lily spent the entire time admiring Geena and Xara left the pair shortly to thank and congratulate the young performer. Lily grinned at Geena, “So, um…how long have been doing this for? You guys looked pretty pro out there I have to say. I was impressed. This place will be flowing over in no time if you keep it up!” She was not just saying it to flatter the woman. It was the truth! It was the most fun the homeless woman had had in months. Lily fiddled with the change in her pocket and watched as Xara mingled with the patrons of the club, getting ready to go home to her boyfriend and daughter. She nibbled the insider of her cheek thoughtfully. “Do you want to get some coffee after this?”

I smiled at Xara as she drew me into an embrace and I returned it and the kisses to her cheeks, it made me happy to know she had gotten good tips tonight, I worried about the people working for us here, if we failed so did they and some people couldn’t afford that, hell I couldn’t afford that.
“That’s awesome, it seems to be a good turnout tonight so hopefully everyone has a good night for tips”
I said looking around at the club, everyone seemed to be having a good time which was good, the bars were crowded with people ordering drinks and the stages were surrounded with people enjoying the entertainment, true there were people out there trying to shut this place down but these people here were just trying to have fun, and hopefully these people prevailed and their club would stay open and would flourish.
“Geena! That’s a nice name I like that name. I really like the ‘ee’ sounds I think those are nice to say, and the ‘ah’ sound too it’s…a nice combo. My name is Lily… not as nice a name as Geena but, eh, still a name.” I shook her hand a grin on my face it was kind of cute watching the little Goth girl trip all over herself as she tried to introduce herself to me. My previous experience with Goth people were they were overly confident in themselves and didn’t much care what other people thought, it was kind of refreshing to see some of them were really quite human and awkward.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you Lily and just so you know Lily’s are my favourite flowers, and I think that’s a wicked name”
I said easily, I didn’t have any issues meeting new people not even gorgeous girls who I would love to get in bed. A lot of my friends recon I’m a player and I’m no better than a man in that respect going after innocent girls for one night stands with no intentions of any sort of commitment. I disagreed it wasn’t like that at all, it’s not like I purposefully set out to hurt them, I just had an itsy bitsy fear of commitment that sent me running for the hills when I thought things might get a bit too serious.
My attention was drawn to the stage as one of the vocal students from the local university took to the stage preforming “Leparello’s Catalogue Aria”, I had already seen him backstage when he originally came to us and asked if he could perform in our club sometime, and he had been impressive then, put a crowd in front of him and he swelled to outstanding proportions, I smiled glad we had taken the chance on him despite his performance being completely separate from what we usually had here. I was aware that the girl Lily wasn’t focusing on the performance at all but on me. I watched as Xara not so subtly left us to go and congratulate the boy and smiled rolling my eyes at her slightly before turning my attention back to Lily.
“So, um…how long have been doing this for? You guys looked pretty pro out there I have to say. I was impressed. This place will be flowing over in no time if you keep it up!” Flattery would get her everywhere with me I thought with a big smile on my face from her compliment, I sure hoped she was right, I wanted nothing more than for this place to be a success.
“Thanks, I used to take dancing lessons as a child and have been dancing in places like this since I was 16 so I’ve been at this about 3 years. I sure hope your right about this place I’ve put everything I have into it and would hate to see it fail”
I answered her with passion in my voice this place meant everything to me and I had put my heart and soul into it, working hard to get it running and I planned on working harder to keep it going. “Do you want to get some coffee after this?” the girl Lily asked and I smiled what could some coffee hurt, but let’s see how much she really wanted it shall we.
“Sounds great but I have to be here till we close, so if you can wait that long ill shout us coffee and breakfast I’m always ravenous after a night of dancing.”
I offered easily I would have to leave soon I realized as I caught the time on the clock above the bar I was on again in 5 minutes good thing I was already in my costume or I would have had to run off without an explanation.
“I have to get back on that stage now but if your still here when I’m done I’ll buy you a drink while you wait.”
I said with a smile getting up from my chair and weaving myself in and out of people heading backstage ready to take my place and bust a move for the waiting patrons.

Lily stayed until the club was closed. It was only an hour to wait, and the show was very entertaining. She found Geena very attractive and she felt a bit guilty for focusing so much on the physical aspects of the woman. It was not fair to think so shallowly about someone and Lily hated it when people did the same to her. It did not happen often, mind you, but when it happened Lily could feel herself recoil with disgust. So she tried not to do it to other people as well. Even so, Lily was confident that, from the little time they had to talk, she would find Geena’s personality as attractive as the body which contained it. Although… the fact that Geena was a burlesque dancer made it very difficult, at first, to see past her “damn near perfect body…”
Lily watched on with wide eyes and sipped the drink Geena had promised, trying to decide where to take the fascinating woman once her shift was over. She wished she had the money to take her somewhere truly nice, like a fancy restaurant or some other place that was more fitting for a woman like her. Lily was the kind of girl who, when she decided she was interested in someone, she would pull out all the stops. She would have liked for roses and wine to come into play at a fancy restaurant and maybe a moonlit walk on the beach. She could still do the moonlit walk, but roses and wine and steaks? No dice.
As it was, Lily only had fifteen dollars left and she planned on spending it on Geena anyway at whatever coffee shop they went to. Money was not objection for Lily; it was just an issue for the rest of the world that was all. When the club had closed Lily found Geena and took her down the road to a coffee shop she knew was pretty decent. She frequented it whenever she had money enough to treat herself and the people there knew her by name. She walked into the café shop, followed by the cheery sound of the bell.
The man at the counter looked up and grinned at them, “Hey Lil’s!” he said cheerily, and a woman walked out from the back to see as well. They both grinned at Lily, and then leered at Geena, sizing her up the same way good friends’ size up a new ‘partner’. The woman leaned back and crossed her arms, “Who’s that Lil’s”
Lily grinned and looked up at the much taller woman and her fiance. “She’s a friend of mine, Kylie. Her name is Geena. We’re here for coffee.” Kylie grinned wryly.
“Uh huh.”
“So what’d you want cutie?” Kylie’s fiancé, Jackson, asked as he cast the woman a quieting look. “You’re so rude Kylie!” he scolded as a side note. Lily chuckled,
“Just a couple of coffees and some of your delicious cookies.” She grinned.
“Sure thing darling just have a seat and it’ll be right out.” Jackson smiled. “You’ve got the place pretty much all to yourself tonight.”
Lily thanked him whilst Kylie continued to eye up Geena, and then begrudgingly begun to make the coffee. Lily knew they were talking about her, but she also knew it was because they worried about Lily. They had offered her a place to stay many times but since they were about to get married and Lily did not think it would be cool for them to spend their first year as a married couple housing a homeless, jobless woman.
She sat down at the table and gave Geena an apologetic look. “Sorry luv, they’re a little suspicious of people I bring over.” She leaned forward as if telling her a secret, “They always think they’re up to no good. I had one bad relationship,” terrible. “and they’ve been on my case ever since.” She leaned back and smiled gently at her companion, “But I think you’re pretty harmless—well actually, I think you’re pretty deadly—but I don’t think you’re a scoundrel or some sort of fiend or anything like that.”
Kylie brought a tray with cookies and coffee and winked at Lily, “There you go dear…” she took a moment and frowned at Geena , “I’m watching you…Geena.” She warned. Jackson rolled his eyes and shook his head, but Lily only grinned and sipped her coffee. She was a little flushed, having had quite a bit more to drink than she was used to.
“Yeah…sorry about her.” She apologized again, chuckling. “So, um, Geena…” she picked up a cookie and nibbled on it pensively, “I don’t want to be…rude… but I was just wondering—and really I am just wondering—but are you, um,” she blushed, “interested in women…?” she grinned girlishly and shook her head, “Ugh. I am being way too forward aren’t I? Sorry…I’m pretty bad at this.”

Watching: Nothin' Notes: Hope this was alright! You can post her reaction and then say they finished their coffee and walked to Lily's place? Or maybe they part and Geena follows her XD up to you! Either way, you can post Lily finishes her food and goes home if you like I don't mind ^^

The music was hypnotic as always as I walked out onto the stage after leaving Lily at the bar, I still rehearsed my dances outside of working hours but not because I needed too I knew them all by heart but I loved to, moving to this music was natural and fun and I took to the stage like I was born on it. The final hour of the club being opened passed by in a blur of colour and movement and the girls and I put on our show for the paying patrons. By the time we took our leave my face was slightly shiny with perspiration. Walking backstage I slipped out of my costume and into the clothes I had worn into work today, low cut jeans with strategic rips and tears through them and a cropped off black shirt that scooped low just covering the girls and that showed off my midriff. I finished it off by pulling on my trench style black coat and leaving my hooker heals on.
Scooping up my little strappy bag I checked my face in the mirror and did a quick makeup touch up, not reducing the stage makeup like I probably should have but simply fixing where I had sweated small parts of it off during the night. Then I took off into the main club that the bouncers had already shut down pushing the patrons out the door for the night and promising the reluctant ones we would be back tomorrow night. Glancing around I couldn’t see Lily and was almost a little disappointed until I thought about the fact the guys wouldn’t have known she didn’t need to be kicked out of the club. Wishing people a good night as I left and throwing a wink to Azure and Tara who were gathered together as she left.
Stepping out onto the street the night air wrapped around me nicely and I glanced around not seeing Lily at first but then she stepped up from near the building she had obviously been waiting for me. I smiled warmly as she stepped up beside me and started leading the way off toward a cute little coffee shop I had never been to before; I usually headed to one of the less cute more rough ones with the girls after the show so this would be interesting.
It wasn’t very far from where the club was and I was surprised I hadn’t really noticed it before now as Lily lead me into it, on the walk she seemed to be a little shy and not so into conversations but I didn’t mind, I liked a little bit of silence after a night in the noisy clubs though if she didn’t start talking soon I’d likely break the ice. I grinned slightly as I followed her through the doors and the place seemed to sing with the sound of the little jingling bell as the door opened and closed behind us.
It was apparent from the start that Lily knew the owners from the way they interacted with each other. I almost laughed out loud at the exchange going on, the way the lady was behaving made me think of the way overprotective fathers behave when a new boyfriend comes to the door to take their precious daughter out on a date in the movies. I simply smiled sweetly at them and waited for Lily to do the introduction thing, neither of the two behind the counter addressed me just Lily so I simply stayed silent and followed Lily to our seats after she had ordered for us.
“Sorry luv, they’re a little suspicious of people I bring over. They always think they’re up to no good. I had one bad relationship, and they’ve been on my case ever since. But I think you’re pretty harmless—well actually, I think you’re pretty deadly—but I don’t think you’re a scoundrel or some sort of fiend or anything like that.” Lily explained as we sat down at a table I smiled and looked over my shoulder at the pair at the counter the women was still throwing me looks as she made the coffee and I grinned turning back to Lily.
“Not to worry darlin’ it’s good to see you have such nice people looking out for you, not everyone has that.”
Just then Kylie came over with the coffee and cookies and set the tray down in front of them “There you go dear…” she said sweetly to lily then looking over at me with a frown added “I’m watching you…Geena.” I just grinned and turned to look at her with a smile.
“Oh good I look forward to it hunni”
I said with a sweet smile my voice with slight tease too it I winked at her and took up my coffee taking a sip, it was amazing much better than what me and the girls usually got from the dive down the road a ways, I’d have to bring them here sometime, I wondered what Kylie would think of that I grinned a little at the thought of what her reaction might be.
“Yeah…sorry about her.” Lily said again with slight chuckle to her voice , she seemed to look down and when she began talking again she seemed all worried about her words. “So, um, Geena… I don’t want to be…rude… but I was just wondering—and really I am just wondering—but are you, um, interested in women…? Ugh. I am being way too forward aren’t I? Sorry…I’m pretty bad at this.” You had to admit in this moment the little goth girl looked more like an insecure little prep girl giggling nervously and waiting for an answer it was pretty dang cute.
“Lily darling relax would ya, nothing much offends me and let me tell you men are pigs I don’t know how any lady in their right minds would wanna be with one, women are much better partners.”
I said matter of factually as I took another sip of coffee before taking up my cookie and dunking it in my amazing coffee watching the cookie darken as it soaked it up I pulled it out and took a bite, yes very childish way to eat cookies I know but come on why do you think we all did it as kids. Because it tastes amazing that’s why!
“So tell me bout yourself Lily, you look like a girl with a story.”

“Lily darling relax would ya, nothing much offends me and let me tell you men are pigs I don’t know how any lady in their right minds would wanna be with one, women are much better partners.”
Lily felt her shoulders drop in relief. She giggled at Geena’s response and picked up her own mug of coffee (which Kylie and Jackson, she would later learned, had put on the house) to hide her girlish grin. To Lily, Geena’s acceptance of her question and the implications of it meant more to her than anything. She had suffered, as a child, very little in the way of intolerance toward either her species or her sexual orientation. In fact it was not until she moved to Hobart that she began experiencing hatred and intolerance and, as if she were a young child, she did not understand. Her worst fear was that Geena would scoff in her face, get up and leave her in the coffee shop. Why she would think that she had no idea, but it was a fear she carried in regards to every new person she met since moving to Hobart.
She swallowed her coffee and took a bite of cookie. It was moist, chocolaty…perfect. Lily swallowed, “I’m glad you’re hard to offend because I’m pretty darned good at it.” She grinned wryly, and then looked down into her mug to stir some sweetener and cream into it. “And I guess men aren’t all bad…they just need a little training that’s all.” She had a few boyfriends in her past, about as many boyfriends as she’d had girlfriends, though she could never seem to hang onto one. Lily had, in total, had over fourteen relationships in her past and she had never, not even once, broken up with someone. It had taken quite a toll on her mentally and emotionally, having always been the one to be abandoned, often unceremoniously, but she was a resilient creature. She had learned, a long time ago, about a man living in Soviet Russia during the reign of Stalin who was a poet and a writer. He kept all of his reviews in a little notebook; of the 301 reviews he received 298 of those were negative. Whenever she was feeling down on herself for always having been dumped, she thought of that poor man, and a wave of optimism overcame her.
“So tell me bout yourself Lily, you look like a girl with a story.”
Lily squirmed slightly. “I do? That’s funny, because I’m not all that interesting.” She grinned nervously, “Must be all the makeup.” A funny remark, considering how much Geena was wearing. Lily looked about the café thoughtfully, as if her life’s story was written upon it’s mauve walls. “Well… I was born in England. My mum was a school teacher and my dad was a librarian. I had two brothers and a sister. I moved here to go to school, and finished a degree in the performance arts as a stage actress.” She grinned, “it was fun, but jobs have been slim. I’ve been looking around…not much. Done a few commercials.” She shrugged. “My brother passed a few months ago he…got into a street fight and…well, lost.” She grimaced, “Some punks were bothering his wife about marrying a warlock. Oh--!” she placed her hand over her mouth, “I never told you---I’m a witch!”
Even more terrifying than admitting a sexual orientation was a species, especially to a human! Lily looked like a dog who expected to be kicked, not on purpose--mostly on impulse-- because somehow looking regretful for being the species you were was supposed to make it forgivable. But that was stupid, Lily! She sat a bit straighter and gave Geena as level a stare as she could while still maintaining a sort of pleading air about her. 'Oh please don't leave' she seemed to say through the droopiness of her shoulders. 'I was having such a good time!'
She grinned crookedly, "It's pretty cool... ever seen the sorcerers apprentice, where he makes the mops walk?" She poked herself in the chest and smirked, "Totally can do that. It's pretty bad ass." --------------

-------------------------- It felt pretty easy opening up to Lily though I couldn’t really place why I wasn’t usually one to open up I preferred to be the mysterious type of person. Never allowing the people around me to glimpse the girl behind the mask, usually all anyone saw was a hot chick dancing on stage no one ever found out my little sob story apart from Tara and Azure since opening a club together was easier without secrets. But here I was opening up to Lily who I barely knew. Though I probably would have felt bad if I didn’t let her into my past a little bit after all she had opened up with me to the extent that she told me she was a witch, personally I thought that was pretty bad ass to be honest, and I liked bad.
I swirled the last of the coffee around in the bottom of the cup I help before chugging it down, it was damn good coffee I certainly needed to come back here sometime. I picked up another cookie and bit into it a smile on my face as I did. I twirled the cookie around in my fingers and looked up at Lily thoughtfully
“So Lily, your place or mine”
I say with a grin on my face, I wasn’t one for sitting still for too long and I was itching to get up and move, take a walk or something, I didn’t necessarily mean it in the way a guy might though I wouldn’t object to that either, I had spent most of my life going for the instant gratification but not sticking around for the whole show. This is probably the longest I’ve spent trying to get to know someone who had hit on me at the club I thought absently.
I stood up taking the cookie with me I needed to move sitting was nice for a small time but I was a mover and a groover I didn’t cope with sitting down for long periods of time. I held out my hand to Lily to come with me I didn’t mind where we went but I needed to walk.
“Walk and talk with me, I don’t like sitting still for too long”
I said with a grin dancing a few steps away from the table and back again, I was eager to be back out in the fresh air, as nice as this place was id been in the crowded club all night I wanted to feel some open air on my skin. I found myself have the urge to go and pull her out of the chair but I thought that might be a bit rude and instead I waited impatiently for her to get up and come with me, I wasn’t even sure if she had finished her coffee yet.

"So Lily your place or mine."
"Um." Lily hadn't thought that question would come up. What did Geena mean by that? Cuddling on the couch, or... more? Lily had never been really into flings or one-night-stands but that didn't mean she had never done them before. She'd had a lot of one-night-stands (for most of which she was pretty drunk), and her flings were usually fun but relatively unsatisfying and left her wondering if there was something wrong with her that made her partners want to leave. She was a fairly dramatic person when it came to relationships. Before she could ask what Geena meant, or deny the question completely and make up some excuse for not being able to go, the woman was up and moving around, standing and asking her to follow. Lily looked unsure of this notion for a moment and gave Geena a confused look. 'If the relationship thing bothers you so much just think of her as a cool new friend you just met,' she reasoned, 'that way there's no pressure and you can actually have fun. You remember what fun is, right?'
But there was a snowballs chance in hell Lily was ever going to let Geena see where she lived. Despite being okay with her living conditions she was not terribly proud of them. People saw her living in a tent and assumed she was some bum, or a gangster, or a drug lord-addict. But the most embarrassing thing was when someone stumbled upon her and thought he a "lady of the night". Not that she thought poorly of people who did enter that field--pitied them perhaps because she knew most of them did not want to be in that kind of a job and were forced into it-- but how many times had someone came by her tent and tried to 'pay her for her services'? Would Geena think the same thing?
Of course there was very little possibility of that. Lily was a fairly good at judging character and Geena seemed very kind and accepting to Lily. Though now the worst fear Lily had was that Geena would offer her some sort of charity, or take pity on her. Not that she would get offended and upset with the other woman, but it would be embarrassing nonetheless.
Lily stood, "Okay hang on just a moment."
"Don't worry about lovely, it's on us." Kylie grinned, "you two go have fun."
Lily's jaw dropped. "Really? Wow...thank you so much!"
"No worries. Just give us a call if you need anything." Kylie warned ominously, eyeing Geena up. Lily smirked.
"You're awesome."
She followed Geena out the door. "So... um, maybe you're place? I mean I don't know what we'd do there..." she rubbed her arms slightly, "Can't really go to mine." she smirked. "It's...a bit drafty."
She looked around her nervously. "So... do you like movies?"
((OOC: :3 hope this gives you enough to work on. You can say they walked to Geena's house, or wandered around and stumbled on Lily's tent. Maybe Geena just kind of follows and Lily absently wanders back home? That would be fine with me if you wanted to post that ))

Quick rundown on ICC leading to this post
Lily and Geena take a walk ending up with Lily unconsciously leading them to the cemetery and stumbling upon her home which she had wanted to keep secret from Geena at least for a little bit longer. On the way Lily had shown Geena a cool trick where she could set a stick alight with her mind and put it out.
Upon seeing the conditions Lily was living in and discovering it wasn’t because she wanted to be closer to the earth and therefore her magic but because she is homeless Geena offers up her spare room to the girl she just met, an offer which Lily accepts eagerly. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
I couldn’t help but grin as Lily threw her arms around me in a hug while she gushed words of excitement over being given the chance to move in with me. I didn’t think it was really such an exciting thing; I wasn’t the easiest person to live with after all with all of my strange hours in and out for the club. I hugged her in return before pulling away slightly linking my arm through hers, looking out at her little makeshift house.
“So miss Lily when would you like to move in?”
I said with a smile on my features, though I was slightly apprehensive if I was honest with myself. It wasn’t like I wasn’t naturally a giving person, because I liked to think I was, it was just that I usually waited until I knew a person properly before offering things like this to them. I mean for all I really knew Lily could be some kind of psychopath that would kill me in my sleep, I mean look at the way she can control fire she could probably burn me to death and the would think it was some freak accident natural cause thing, since I doubt they would be able to identify that the accelerant was magic.
I laughed lightly to myself at my own crazy thoughts and shook them off, Lily didn’t seem like that sort of person anyway, and hey if she was then at least life wouldn’t be dull. I took a few steps closer to her home looking around me as I went my arm slipping away from hers as I stepped forward, a few paces away from her and closer to her house I turned to look at her with a quizzical look on my features.
“Tell me something, and don’t get offended ok I’m just curious, but what made you set up your tent here so close to the cemetery?”
I couldn’t help but ask, I knew so many people who got the creeps from cemetery’s even during the day let alone sleeping in one at night. Now I didn’t share this view, if I had I wouldn’t have followed her in here but I was curious, I don’t think I would have ever set up a temporary home in a cemetery as Lily had here. I wasn’t trying to judge her in anyway and I hoped she didn’t think that I was, I just found it such a fascinating life choice. I looked around and then down at my feet scuffing them against the ground kicking up a bit of dirt in doing so
“You don’t have to answer, I’m just curious but you don’t have to tell me anything”
I said looking up from bellow my eyelashes to see her reaction, I liked Lily already and that worried the hell out of me, all the time I had spent building a wall around my heart and not letting anyone in so it couldn’t be hurt. I was worried about letting her into my home in case it was a step toward letting her into my heart, but I wouldn’t go back on my word now she would have a home in my house if she wanted it.

Her fascination with Geena began less than a couple of hours ago and yet now they were about to become roommates? A sliver of doubt pricked cruelly at her subconscious as to what Geena's intentions were. She could be yanking her chain or promising her all of these things to get her in some compromising position, or so Lily would owe her debt and then Geena could use that against Lily to make her do her evil deeds, effectively becoming her unwilling right-hand man as slowly Geena the burlesque dancer becomes Geena: empress of the entire world!
Actually... that wouldn't be such a bad gig, Lily contemplated coyly. Really if someone was going to take over the entire world it would be a wise idea to be in that someone's good books, no? Maybe Geena would give Lily a cut, her own country to rule, perhaps? She would choose Greenland, because no one ever bothers Greenland, and no one would try to take that away from her. It could be her own little world, and in that world everyone would have a home and no one would ever have to do chores again because by that time Lily would be the most powerful witch in all the land and she would enchant her new realm to benefit the people who lived there as much as she could. It would be the perfect country!
A perfect country with a totalitarian government but, hey, when the dishes wash themselves who cares?
Right?
Oh well. She would hop that hurtle when she came to it.
Right now her only issue was deciding on when she wanted to move in with the woman. Geena appeared to be a pretty decent person, all world-domination jokes aside. Lily generally had a pretty... well, a pretty terrible sense of character actually, although she had never given up on her ability to actually find decent people, and she had a hunch that Geena was decent people.
She happily let Geena link arms with her and leaned into the woman's shoulder in a sort of quasi-hug /cuddle. Once she decided she liked someone Lily would become quite cuddly with them, especially if they expressed approval in that sort of harmless physical interaction. She knew some people were such tight-asses about their personal space, but Lily took a lot of her cues from body language. The way that someone touched you--hugged you, brushed your arm, etc., and the like-- said a lot about a person and their opinion of you.
The way that Geena had linked arms with Lily made the witch feel rather at ease, and prompted a happy-dreamy grin that she had not been able to pull for a long time. Life in the cemetery was not as easy as she made it look. If anyone found out she lived there, present company excluded, they were likely to trash her house or attempt to assault the good witch. Lily had had many an encounter or, if she was lucky, close-calls with gangs of angry drunk or drugged people looking for something to destroy, thieves, sexual predators...not to mention storms and wild animals. Lily lived in a constant state of readiness that was both physically and mentally exhausting. She was considering moving away from the cemetery but she could honestly think of no safer place that she could get to easily. It was a sticky situation indeed.
Until Geena came along.
“So miss Lily when would you like to move in?” Lily could not believe her ears.
"Um..." she blushed, "Would tonight be okay? I know it is a bit soon..."
The witch trailed off and followed Geena's gaze. Oh gosh, she was going to berate her for living in a cemetery wasn't she? Lily cringed inwardly.
“Tell me something, and don’t get offended ok I’m just curious, but what made you set up your tent here so close to the cemetery?”
The good witch crossed her arms over her breasts and sighed thoughtfully. That was a good question...
“You don’t have to answer, I’m just curious but you don’t have to tell me anything”
"Oh no! It's okay, perfectly normal question. I...I thought it would be safer here. Safer than downtown, on the streets, you know? It is quieter. This part of the cemetery is rarely ever visited, it is so old the people who would visit have their own stones somewhere else. I don't really mind the cemetery-- I know it freaks people out, and it is not just because I'm a witch either. I figure there is nothing to fear from the the dead. It helps that I have spells to keep the evil spirits away, but the good ones are nice. I think I've had a few protectors over the time I've lived here but maybe some of them have moved on with their--er-- afterlives."
Lily giggled and walked up to her tent, "It was a nice little home. Not much in there though, just some gross old clothes and cans of food." She took Geena by hand and led her toward the tent's entrance. "I don't have any fancy spells on it..." she said as she unzipped the entrance and crawled in. It really was bare. More bare than it should have been, in fact. Lily sat down hard on her heels and let her shoulders droop. She could not believe it! Her tent was completely stripped. She, literally, had nothing but the clothes on her back now. In her purse she kept her most important possessions.
"O...kay..." she shook herself and grinned sheepishly up at Geena. "It looks like packing is going to be easier than I thought! That's always nice, I always hated packing, you know? No worries," she patted the purse that was slung over her shoulder, "it was mostly just food and blankets, nothing crucial. So..." she backed out of the tent and linked arms with Geena again. "Your place then?"
Lily grinned happily. "So what's your favorite movie?"

You couldn’t help by smile when it came to Lily, she could go from all happy and exuberant one moment and back to being shy the next it was pretty cute really. "Um… Would tonight be okay? I know it is a bit soon..." She asked blush rising to her cheeks as she did.
“Tonight is perfectly fine”
I said with a smile which faded ever so slightly as she spoke again, "Oh no! I figure there is nothing to fear from the dead. It helps that I have spells to keep the evil spirits away, but the good ones are nice. I think I've had a few protectors over the time I've lived here but maybe some of them have moved on with their--er-- afterlives."
I listened intently to her story, I had always wondered about spirit and wondered if they really existed or not and the edges of my lips turned up in a small smile of satisfaction to find out they did. It didn’t even cross my mind to doubt her words or scoff and call her a liar I simply believed her.
"It was a nice little home. Not much in there though, just some gross old clothes and cans of food. I don't have any fancy spells on it..." I walked up to the entrance to the tent hand in hand with Lily, I glanced inside as she opened it up and frowned, I didn’t see anything in there, no gross old clothes and no cans of food, the place was completely bare. "O...kay… It looks like packing is going to be easier than I thought! That's always nice, I always hated packing, you know? No worries it was mostly just food and blankets, nothing crucial. So… Your place then?" I was shocked at how casual she sounded about it.
Yes I had been homeless for a time too but I had never had what few possessions I had stolen from me in that time. I realised now how lucky I was for that and I easily let Lily link arms with me as she backed out of the empty tent.
“How are you so calm? I’d be freaking out if someone stole all my stuff.”
I said in awe of her calm façade, I always considered myself a pretty strong willed person but I realised I was nothing compared to Lily.
“Should we take the tent?”
I asked not sure if she would want to bring it or not, she wouldn’t need it anymore but it might have some sort of attachment too her so I didn’t want to just assume we were going to leave it there without a thought. I shook my head slightly as she asked me what my favourite movie was and couldn’t stop myself laughing slightly and shaking my head. How could anyone go so easily back to talking about something as ordinary as movies when they had just been robbed of almost everything they own.
“Umm, yes my place defiantly, and don’t judge me but my favourite movie of all time is The Sound of Music, though lately Burlesque is a pretty close second”
I said with a sheepish grin, not many people understood my obsession with The Sound of Music and I was often judged on it but I didn’t mind I loved musicals and The Sound of Music was a classic.

“How are you so calm? I’d be freaking out if someone stole all my stuff.”
Lily shrugged. She wasn't too upset, obviously. The way she saw it her items were not irreplaceable and whoever took them probably needed it more than she did. She could only hope the items they took would help in some way. There was no doubt they would, since street dwellers could always use clothes and food, and this at least took away the sting of having her possessions taken.
“Should we take the tent?”
"Um..." Lily's long lashes blinked against her cheeks, and when they flew up again, they revealed a slight sheen to her iris, as if it were coated in some metallic substance. She smiled, "No...I think there are some people still hanging around here that need it more than I do." she smiled and with another blink, her eyes returned to normal. She clasped her hands behind her back as she strolled. She looked up to Geena and grinned happily,
"Your place then? So what's your favorite movie?"
“Umm, yes my place defiantly, and don’t judge me but my favourite movie of all time is The Sound of Music, though lately Burlesque is a pretty close second”
Lily's eyes bulged. "No way! I've...never seen either one, but I've heard pretty iffy things about The Sound of Music. I kind of want to see it... that one song is pretty catchy, you know: 'raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens, brown paper packages tied up with strings, these are a few of my favorite things!' " she chuckled, "And if Burlesque is anything like the show I saw tonight, I bet it is a fantastic movie."
Okay so she was totally hitting on Geena and she was not being very discreet either. Was it weird to be hitting on someone who had just invited you to stay in her house, after only an hour of meeting? Probably. She didn't want to seem like a pervert or anything like that but Lily honestly could not help herself. Her flirting had more to do with making Geena feel good than buttering her up for later, but she wondered if Geena was subject to a lot of shallow admirers given her line of work, and she wanted to be sensitive as well as playful. Lily could only imagine what kind of creeps walked in and out of that place some days, and how many of them thought to make a night out of some of the dancers. Though the pregnant vampire seemed to do a good job of striking the fear of God into them...Lily still kind of shivered (not entirely out of fear, either) when she thought of the look of intense authority Tara had given her. But Tara was a little too...intense, for Lily's taste.
The good witch babbled on happily at Geena as the dancer led her to her new home. It was the first time that she had stepped foot in an actual dwelling since...well, since college, and even that was only a room. She had gone almost literally straight from the dorm to the street, and it had been a long and difficult process for the girl who came from a well off, upper class family. Lily's gentle brown eyes bulged as she entered, suddenly aware of her old, stinky, ratty clothes and how out of place she suddenly felt.
The witch blushed and seemed to shrink as she slipped her shoes and socks off, shoving them into a corner near the front door, making herself as small as she could so she wouldn't make a mess as she wandered into the main foyer. She did not think she would get so emotional, but despite all her stoic efforts, Lily choked up as she said to Geena,
"Your home is very lovely. Thank you again for sharing it with me...really, I... if you ever need anything just say so and its done. Aside from killing people, you know." she smiled ruefully, "I'm kind of a pacifist." Truth be told, she might actually injure someone for Geena if she had to. She could never kill a person, but she could at least give them a pretty impressive boo-boo to cry over.
The next thing she did was take a shower. She washed her clothes in the tub first and hung them out to dry while she had her shower, not expecting to find any other clothes when she was done.
She was disgusted at the layer of dirt and grime she shed under the stream of hot water. It took a few rounds of soap and shampoo before she felt completely clean. She desperately wanted to stand under the hot stream for a while, but Geena had just gotten off work and Lily did not want to use all the warm water before she had a shower. But she did not want to leave the sauna she had created just yet so, when she turned off the water, Lily sat in the corner of the tub with her legs pulled into her chest, looking around in a sort of daze. It was a struggle to stay awake, and even more so when she took her towel and wrapped it about herself. The happy-go-lucky, quirky young witch had not felt this relaxed in ages, and her sleep debt was immense.
Soft snoring soon filled the bathroom, and within moments Lily lay barely covered by her towel and curled in an adorable ball in the corner of the tub with her head resting on the ledge.

It was easy walking with Lily and it was made easier when she didn’t judge me about liking the sound of music, though that was probably because she had never seen it. Hmmm I wonder if she would feel the same if she had actually seen it. I frowned a little at the thought and instantly found myself tripping over my words trying to defend my choice of movie.
“The Sound of Music isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s such a classic musical, though anyone who doesn’t like musicals wouldn’t like it, and some people who do don’t, I don’t know it’s just such a beautiful love story even if it is about a heterosexual couple. It’s still not the sort of couple society expects you know …”
I trailed off finally stopping myself as I knew I was babbling and that was such an unattractive trait. What was it about this girl? I was usually so smooth and endearing; I could usually charm a straight hottie away from the best players in town. Yet here I was with this girl and I felt totally out of my depth, it was as if I had suddenly forgotten everything I ever knew about girls which is just insane since obviously I was one.
I kept up conversation with Lily as we walked me slightly in the lead as we headed for home but I couldn’t help going over and over in my head trying to figure out what it was about this girl that got to me so badly. There were always people hitting on me at the club, and I wasn’t dumb I knew that was what Lily was doing as well but there was something different about her. I was usually so good at brushing people off or using them to get my thrills then palming them off to the next drunk. There is no way I would usually be leading one of them to my house, I was always strategic about that I never brought any of them back to my house that was my sanctuary.
Maybe it was that I had found her living in a tent at the edge of a cemetery, and that she had been robbed, was I just taking pity on her though or was it something else. I looked over at her as we walked and I knew the answer; there was something else I just didn’t know what it was. We finally reached my place, nothing too special it was more of a unit really, steps leading up to the front door which I stopped at and unlocked pushing it open to let lily in first. It was kind of cute the way Lily took her shoes and socks off and seemed to shrink as she walked into the entrance, it was really just a short hallway with a door either side, the two bedrooms, it opened up into a combined kitchen and lounge room and there was another door off to the left that lead to the laundry, toilet and bathroom.
There was a small patio out the back for entertaining but that was where the place ended. It was modestly furnished with overstuffed couches she had picked up at a garage sale, scarfs draped over it to hide the years of built up stains. The main living area was scattered with clothes that hadn’t made it back into my closet when I decided I didn’t want to wear them anymore. I bustled around picking up as many clothes as I could fit into my arms "Your home is very lovely. Thank you again for sharing it with me...really, I... if you ever need anything just say so and it’s done. Aside from killing people, you know, I'm kind of a pacifist." I heard her speak before I could apologise for the mess.
“It’s not much and sorry about all the mess I promise I’ll keep it confined to my room, and don’t worry I would never expect you to kill anyone for me”
I said with a grin as I pushed the door on the right side of the hallway open and threw the armful of clothes into my room.
“That will be your room, it has a double bed in there I don’t know how comfortable it will be though I picked it up at a garage sale and haven’t used it myself.”
I said pointing to the door across the hall from my room as I walked back into the main area where Lily still was. It wasn’t long before I was sitting in the lounge room on my own while Lily took a shower, I already had some of my clean clothes sitting on the couch next to me for her when she got out I figured she might appreciate a change of clothes since hers had all been stolen, I would go through my closet later with her and we could pull together a decent amount of outfits for her to have to get herself started again. I switched the small out-dated TV on and flicked through to some mindless show that I pretended to pay attention too.
I soon heard the water shut off and waited, when 10minutes had passed and Lily had still not come out I frowned and grabbed the clothes beside me and headed toward the bathroom door. Maybe she wasn’t coming out because she didn’t have clean clothes to put on. I rapped on the door lightly with my right knuckle and waited a moment, when there was no response I knocked a little louder calling out.
“Lily, are you ok? I have some clean clothes here for you if you want.”
I called through the door wondering if she had heard me. The clothes weren’t anything impressive, just some simple jeans and a simple green v neck t-shirt but they were clean, the only thing I hadn’t grabbed was underwear, call me crazy but that was one thing I didn’t feel comfortable lending to someone else, but in the morning we could go lingerie shopping and get her some nice new stuff.

When you live on the streets you train yourself to be a very light sleeper. Her ability to wake up at the sound of a pin dropping had saved Lily’s buns on more than one occasion and, unlike many people she had met, she was proud of her ability to sleep through pretty much nothing. That was before she felt safe and secure, of course.
Curled up in Geena’s bathtub, draped in a towel, Lily felt safer than she had ever felt before. She knew she liked Geena from the moment she saw her, and not just because of how incredibly pretty she was either. If, when they first met, Geena acted like a complete snob, or maybe she was just plain mean, Lily would have wanted nothing more to do with her. It was how she acted on stage that had captivated her. The redheaded alien woman who she met before was alright but she seemed—oh, how to put it diplomatically?—intense; as if she lacked a certain playfulness that Lily herself adopted, and completely adored in others under the right circumstances. That did not stop the alien woman from being rather attractive, and Lily wondered who it was that got to squeeze that at night, the lucky bastard. Alien sex must be something … out of this world, she chuckled to herself. Lily also loved puns.
The first time Geena had knocked on the door Lily merely groaned and rolled over, pulling the towel over her head. The second time she knocked, she sat bolt upright and looked around with wide eyes. Where was she, she wondered for a split, terrifying moment. It was not completely uncommon for her to wake up somewhere she wasn’t supposed to. But Geena’s voice shook her confusion and she quickly scrambled out of the tub, wrapped the towel around her beasts, and opened the door sheepishly.
“Ah…sorry.” She rubbed her own arm nervously, “I fell asleep in your bathtub.”
Lily beamed up at Geena—she was slightly shorter—and spotted the clothing. “Oh… those are for me, aren’t they?” The witch’s grin was softer then, and she took the cloths gently. “Thank you so much. I… I washed my own clothes in the sink if…if that’s alright.” She blushed and took the clothes into the bathroom with her, changed quickly, and emerged again with bright brown eyes.
She took Geena’s hand and guided her to her own lounge room where she plunked herself down and patted a spot on the cushion beside her. “I--” she stopped herself and looked away momentarily, then looked up at Geena, “I’ve been searching around for some work and so I’ll hopefully be able to help with rent and such soon. Hey so, um, how do go about becoming a burlesque dancer? Not that I think I’d be able to do it, it looks way too difficult, but how does the whole application process turn out? You’re one of the bosses right? Oh, and, also,” she was babbling shamelessly again, “I think I totally know who that alien chick is! Shawra… right? Xara is her name, I think. Man I can’t believe I didn’t remember this sooner! Do you know what she’s done? Or, well, what the word on the street is anyway.”
Lily wrapped her arm about Geena’s shoulders and pulled her in as if telling her juicy gossip, “So she and her buddies went on some berserk mission to infiltrate some science compound that were like, totally terrible to them and did really nasty shit to them, and killed a whole bunch of people! I heard that she killed like, fifty armed men single handedly! Isn’t that so intense? Did you know about that? I guess it isn’t something you’d wanna put on your resume though. Unless you were applying to be a badass, but I think she’s already got that covered. She and her friend…Blue or something…Azure…? Well anyway, I heard that they went all undercover and shit and they got away with it too! Isn’t that fantastic?” she leaned back with a sigh of admiration, and then shook her head, “Lordy lordy, but will they be hunted, you know what I’m saying? You don’t think we don’t have the facility here? God, if they got their hands on those two…” she shrugged. “Shit’d hit the fan harder ‘n you’d even imagine, especially if they had kids. If they had kids… pfft!” she snorted, “They’re already goners if you ask me. Did you know that, when you hired ‘em?” she asked innocently.
